Victorian Christmas has been a holiday tradition in Thomasville for more than 30 years. It takes place each December on a Thursday and Friday. There is so much to see and do: live nativity, carriage rides, Victorian Village, magic lantern show, live entertainment, delicious food, visits with St. Nick, shopping, and more!
We arrived early to beat the crowds and started our night at Fuzzy Goat where we dropped off a letter for Santa Claus.
Next we beat the masses to the marshmallow roasting.
Of course we had to stop in front of The New Image to check out the live mannequins. They were doing a great job!
The fire performers are always a crowd favorite.
And what is a trip to Victorian Christmas without swinging by to wave at St. Nick?
While there we spotted KeySouth agent Lisa Taylor and her precious daughter walking up to see St. Nick.
Of course it’s not Victorian Christmas without the framed Victorian lady.
There is live music around every corner.
We enjoyed the magic lantern show – great storytelling there!
We had to swing by Harden’s Taxidermy, of course.
It was a great night filled with lots of fun that we didn’t photograph…yummy coffee at Grassroots Coffee Company, observing candy making (and sampling), pizza from Moonspin, gumbo from Sass, and lots more that we didn’t even have time to see. It looks like we will need to make a return trip tonight to catch everything else!
