Have you ever thought about eloping? If so...I have just the thing for you! One of my favorite places on the planet is Belize. I go there often on vacation and have also travelled there to three timse to photograph weddings. Trust me - you really just can't beat a Belize wedding! Total relaxation.
Anyway...I will be in Belize this fall on vacation and would love to photograph a small wedding while I am there. A small wedding could be just the two of you - or you could even have a few close friends join you.
How relaxing would this hammock be?
The beautiful palm trees and the caribbean sea...
All you need to do is buy your airline tickets, book a room (I can help you with that), and pack your bags! Seriously - we'll take care of everything else!
Rosy and Todd had a beautiful ceremony on Ambergris Caye. It was just the two of them along with Brian and me. They spent the morning sailing and soaking in the sun and then returned in time for a relaxing sunset wedding.
Chris and Wes had a small wedding with immediate family. They even hired me to travel around Belize with them before the wedding - we had so much fun!
Their wedding photos are still up on my blog, and you can see them here:
Iif you have thought about eloping or know someone else who has - and you are free the first week of November - then then contact me or spread the word to your friends.
:)

I recently attended Sally's Wizard of Oz dance recital. Sally is the daughter of our fabulous friends Beth and Cliff.
I was so glad I took my camera along because the recital was super cute.
Beth was a little worried about Sally because she was crying when she left her backstage. But as you can see, she was a natural on stage and all smiles about being in the spotlight!
This one makes me laugh...
A quick shot of Sally afterwards...
Sally and a ballerina friend...
Ms. Baker (Gamma) holds Sally as she checks out the flowers given to her by her daddy...
Stay tuned for a photo session with Sally in her costume that I plan to do if it EVER stops raining! :)
As I was waiting for the recital I thought about my stint in ballet. I was five, and it only lasted a year. Do all little girls take ballet or is it just a southern thing? |

Azalea Sleep Labs
Thursday, May 21, 2009 | Random
|
|
Yesterday I photographed Azalea Sleep Labs whick is located in North Ashley Professional Center located on the corner of Ashley Street and Connell Road.
The waiting room...
If you think you might have a sleep disorder and want to be tested, this is definitely where you will want to go! Not only do they have four patient rooms, they also have rooms where spouses can sleep for those who travel from out of town.
I was surprised to see how nice the patient rooms are. They are set up just like bedrooms, are well furnished, have comfy beds, and even flat screen televisions.
A few details...
Jared at work looking over patient data...
A quick shot of Larry Simpson, president of Azalea Sleep Lab that I took before he could stop me. :)

Amanda and Robert: Thomasville
|
|
Last week Brian and I drove over to Thomasville so I could meet up with a fun couple. I had decided to meet them at Relish - a super cute store on Broad Street.
Relish is a great place to shop, and they have for gifts for all ages.
It is also a great place to get a cold drink - lots of fun drinks to choose from.
They also have a wine room in the back (and food too)!
We arrived early and sat outside and enjoyed the warm weather while sipping on cream sodas.
Brian couldn't resist the chocolate.
I was excited to meet Amanda and Robert who came up from Tallahassee for a get to know you session. I already knew that I adored them after reading their answers to a questionnaire that I sent. Rather than answering together, they each completed a form on their own, so it was classic "he said, she said" reading!
While reading their questionnaire answers, I learned that they like to play H.O.R.S.E. and Scrabble. Although I wasn't able to find a convenient basketball court (how fun would that be?) - I was able to find a Scrabble game.
I secretly set up a "fake" game that tells a little about them.
Although they now both work for FLORIDA (Amanda as an attorney and Rob works for the House of Representatives), they met when Rob passed Amanda a few NOTES when they worked for SPRINT. They LOVE to play HORSE. Their favorite movie is SERENDIPITY, and they have even been to the restaurant in New York City. They like to drink TEA. And PALIMINO is one of their wedding colors (Yay Robert! ha)
I let Amanda and Robert relax for a little while and enjoy a cold drink and a little Scrabble before we roamed downtown Thomasville looking for photo ops.
I don't know what the big white spot is on the photo - I wasn't using flash. I guess there must have been a little glare from the sun on the board. It's a little funny that it just happened to be by Amanda's left hand!
I know I always say I meet the most fun people, but I swear it's true! Amanda and Robert tried out for the Amazing Race a few years ago. I don't know why they didn't make it - but I agree with them - it must have been a mistake in the mail room!
Since Thomasville is the "city of roses" I couldn't resist at least a couple of shots with the city's beautiful flower.
I really love the light I found in the next two...
There were lots of pretty places to choose from...
Then we walked around the corner and caught a little more beautiful golden light as the sun was beginning to dip behind the trees.
I love that Amanda and Rob were up for anything...
A few more as were quickly losing light...
And I'll conclude with a shot of Amanda workin' it! :)
Amanda and Rob - I had a great time hanging out with you and wish you lived closer!
Oh...who knows what color PALAMINO is?? Leave a comment and let me know what you think! :)

Cam and Scott: Hilton Head Island: Post 2
|
|
If you missed Cam and Scott's first post with most of their wedding day photos, click here to see them.
As promised, today I am sharing the photos of Cam and Scott together.
I love that almost all of my clients choose to see each other before the ceremony. It is such a sweet time, and I love that they get to hang out and spend time alone together.
Cam and Scott met behind the house where Scott's parents were staying.
I have already told you how awesome Cam and Scott are. They just plopped down on the ground to talk. You have to love a relaxed bride and groom!
The gorgeous bride...
Scott looked great as well, and Brian got some photos of him that are posted on Pictage so be sure to check him out.
Yes - I do always try to squeeze in a traditional shot or two...
We were also able to get a few shots on the beach right after the ceremony.
Thanks again Cam and Scott! :)
