Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers out there - but especially to my talented and beautiful mama!
I am heading out to my mama's house after church today to make lunch for her and hang out at the pool so please say a little prayer for no rain this afternoon!

Saturday night Brian and I went to a fun birthday party for a longtime family friend. Of course I couldn't resist snapping a few photos. When we arrived at Emily's house, everything was pink and green and garden party fabulous.
Dana setting up the wine table...
What is cuter than a pink Lilly birthday crown? It makes me laugh just to think about it sitting on the birthday girl's head.
Sneaky shots are my specialty of course! :)
Dana, Winter, and Larry...
The party was held at Emily's beautiful home...
Elizabeth with her precious granddaughter Winter.
Everyone had a great time...
I blew out Emilin's hat in this photo, but she is so cute I had to post it anyway!
Elizabeth and Linda look a little alike so we had to get a picture of them together...
Miss Bonnell and Miss Pat enjoying the rocking chairs...
The hostesses...
If you know Larry - I don't have to explain. If you don't know Larry - well - words can't really explain! :D
Happy Birthday to You...
Did I mention that the cake was a delicious mayhaw cake with a million layers?? How many of you know what a mayhaw is? Oh how I love mayhaw jelly. |

Sarah and Bryant: Christmas Photos

Friday afternoon I went over to Sarah and Bryant's house to get Christmas photos of them. Sarah was getting ready to go trick or treating and Bryant was ready for a football game so you might think they would be too excited for photos, but they were awesome.
Sarah is so pretty and has the best laugh...
Bryant is a cutie and is so polite...
A couple of Sarah working it for the camera... :)
Fortunately they were able to sit together for a few shots without killing each other. ha
A few of Bryant...
A few more of Sarah...
Sweet...

Sarah and Bryant - Christmas Photos

I have been so busy this fall that I haven't had the opportunity to do many Christmas photos. The Thagards wanted a black and white image for their Christmas cards this year, and I love the way the photographs converted. In the spirit of Christmas, I used a "warm" black and white.
After you see a few photos below, be sure to check out their SLIDESHOW CHRISTMAS CARD.
To view all of their images, visit PICTAGE LAB.
We started out with Sarah, Bryant, and Oreo.
But Oreo didn't hang around long. :) While Sarah was taking Oreo to her mama, I got a quick shot of Bryant alone.
More shots of Sarah and Bryant together...
I do some things just for fun to loosen everyone up. This was one of those kinds of shots, but I really like how it turned out.
Sarah alone...
...and a few more of them together...
I have a variety of fun new Christmas cards this year, and this is just one of the designs. I love that the entire card is designed and not just the front. These luxe 5x7 cards are printed on fine art paper.
