The Crescent
Friday, February 29, 2008 | Fine Art

A few days ago I posted about spending a leisurely afternoon photographing buildings around Valdosta.  The previous post was about an image that I created with a photograph of Christ Episcopal Church.  Today I thought I would share another image - this one is the Cresent - a well known landmark in Valdosta.

Have a good weekend!  I have three photo sessions scheduled for this weekend, so be ready to see lots of beautiful people posted next week!  :)

Christ Episcopal Church
Wednesday, February 27, 2008 | Fine Art

Last Sunday I decided to go out with my camera and get a few shots of places around Valdosta.  As I drove down Patterson Street, my first stop was VSU.  I also couldn't resist getting a shot of Christ Episcopal Church which is just across the road.  My friend Beth goes to church there, and I thought she might like it.  I used my fisheye lens and a little photoshop work to add an interesting twist.

I have had quite a few people express an interest in art prints so I think I am going to begin offering canvas prints of local places and things of interest.  Stay tuned - I'll be posting more as time permits.

Beth Baker: JILL HIGGINS....I LOOOOVE YOU! Can you believe that I now check a "blog"?  I check yours out almost every day! (02/28/08, 05:28)
shara lana: Very Good Idea!  There are so many places here in Charleston that I could offer for Art as well.  Love it.  When you come back to Charleston, we will do another tour of the town and create some new BEAUTIFUL images.  I thought about doing note cards for the local gift shops around town too. You are always thinking girl! (02/27/08, 11:29)
